Frequently asked questions

Answers about free use, data privacy, export formats, mobile and teaching use, templates and draft saving.

These are the questions we hear most often about Draw Tools.

Is Draw Tools free? Do I need an account?

Every tool is free and needs no account or login. Open the page and start drawing.

Are my images and drawings uploaded to a server?

No. Drawing, exporting and draft saving all happen locally in your browser; content leaves your device only when you export a file.

Which formats can I export?

The boards export PNG, transparent PNG, SVG and JSON project files; other tools export PNG, SVG or JSON for printing and further editing.

Does it work on a phone? Is it good for teaching?

Yes. On phones the toolbar collapses to icons and the canvas pans sideways. The teaching board adds a laser pointer and grid background, while geometry and function tools suit classroom explanations.

Are there ready-made templates? How do I use them?

The template gallery includes whiteboard, flowchart, mind map and geometry examples. Click a card to load it into the matching tool, edit it and export.

Will I lose my drawing if I refresh the page?

The board, flowchart, mind map and geometry tools save a local draft automatically and restore it when you return. Clearing browser data removes the draft.
